Turn emailed quote requests into
priced replies, from your own price list.
Buyers, and now their AI assistants, email lists of sizes, grades and quantities and want a price back fast. QuoteDesk reads each request, matches every line to your price list, shows what it matched and what it could not, and drafts a reply with your prices for you to check and send.
Free, no signup. The demo uses a made-up fastener price list and reads your price list only for one request, without storing it.
What a request looks like
A sample request from our demo (a made-up buyer; the prices in the demo are made up too):
- 400 x M8 stainless steel hex bolts, 40mm, A2 grade - 400 x M8 nyloc nuts, stainless A2 - 50 x 2m lengths of 40x40mm aluminium angle, 3mm thick - 200 x M8 washers Delivery to our site in Leeds by 14 November. Please confirm your price is fixed for 60 days and reply by Friday.
Priced when it is clear
A line is priced on a product code, or on a clear match where every size and grade in the request is in the product. M8 A2 hex bolt, 40mm: priced from your list.
Flagged when it is not
"M8 washers" with no grade or finish, a quantity that is missing, a line under your minimum order or over your stock, or no match at all: flagged, with the buyer's own words next to it.
Commitments are yours
A fixed price for 60 days or a delivery date is not something it decides. The draft leaves a blank for you, and nothing is sent until you send it.
How it works
1. Read the request
An AI model (Meta's Llama, run by Cloudflare) pulls out each line and keeps the exact words it came from. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed first.
2. Price from your list
Matching and prices are ordinary code, not AI. It never invents a price.
3. You check and send
You get a draft reply with blanks for the decisions only you can make.
Questions
Is my price list stored?
In the free demo it is read for one request and not stored. In a free pilot you upload it to a private page; it is stored with your requests (personal details removed) and deleted 60 days after your last change.
What price file do I need?
A CSV with a product code, a description and a price. If your file also has a minimum order or stock column, QuoteDesk uses them to flag a line that is under the minimum or over what is in stock.
What if a request is vague, like "some M8 bolts"?
The line is left blank for you, with the buyer's own words next to it. QuoteDesk prices a line only on a product code or a clear match where every size and grade in the request is in the product.
Does it read PDFs or photos?
Not yet. It reads text: a pasted request or the body of a forwarded email. Attachments such as PDFs and photos are not read, so paste the text in.
Does it send anything to my customers?
No. It drafts a reply with blanks where a person must decide, such as delivery dates or how long a price is held. You check it and send it yourself.
QuoteDesk is in early development: a working prototype, a free demo on sample data and free pilots. It is an automated drafting tool, not advice; a person checks and sends every reply. This page was written with AI.
