Terms of service
The rules for using Kavel, in plain English. Last updated 2026.
1. Who we are
Kavel is a trading name of Lumen Labs Limited ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, company number 16386579. You can reach us at support@getkavel.com.
2. What we offer
Kavel offers small online tools that help businesses get ready for AI agents. These include SiteCheck (agent-readiness checks for websites) and, in future, QuoteDesk and other products. Each page says whether a tool is live or still in development. We may add, change or remove tools.
3. Using SiteCheck
Only scan websites you own or have permission to check. SiteCheck reads public pages only. Its results are automated, can miss problems or flag things that are fine, do not test real AI agents, and are not a guarantee of how any agent will behave, a certificate of accessibility, or legal advice.
3a. SiteCheck monitoring
If you subscribe to monitoring, we scan the website address you give us about once a month and email you a report. Only give us addresses you own or have permission to check. If we cannot reach your site, we will keep trying and tell you. We aim to send each report, but we cannot guarantee delivery or that a scan will find every problem. Scans are automated and are not a certificate of accessibility or legal compliance. You can cancel at any time, and scans stop when your subscription ends.
4. Paying
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown in your local currency, and the price at checkout is the price you pay. Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. Refunds are covered in our refund policy. If we change a subscription price, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use our tools to break the law, to attack or overload other websites or our own, or to try to get around limits we set. We may limit or block use that causes harm.
6. Our responsibility
We take care in building our tools, but we provide them as they are, and we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you for anything connected with a tool is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the problem arose, and we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it applies. Continuing to use a tool after a change means you accept it.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights you have where you live.
