Items
What you asked the suppliers to quote for, and how many.
Quotes
One column per supplier. Enter unit prices, not line totals. Leave a price blank if that supplier did not quote the item.

What landed cost means
Landed cost is what an order costs you once it has arrived: the price of the goods plus delivery. This tool multiplies each supplier's unit prices by your quantities, then adds their delivery cost. If you also pay import duty, customs fees, insurance or handling, add them to the delivery cost so every supplier is compared the same way.
Why the cheapest unit price is not always the cheapest quote
- Delivery. A low unit price with a high delivery charge can cost more overall, especially on small orders.
- Missing items. A quote that leaves out an item looks cheaper than it is. You still have to buy that item somewhere else, often with a second delivery charge. That is why only suppliers who quoted every item are ranked.
- Expired quotes. A price past its valid-until date may not be honoured. Ask the supplier to confirm it.
- Lead time. A cheaper supplier who cannot deliver in time may not be cheaper in the end.
- Payment terms. 60 days to pay is easier on cash flow than paying with the order. The results show each supplier's terms but do not put a value on them.
- Pack sizes and minimum orders. A supplier may only sell in packs or set a minimum order quantity, so check they quoted the quantity you asked for.
